    The staff at BBP LLC assisted in the preparation of the Land Use and Implementation Plan for Ronkonkoma HUB by preparing updated market, economic and demographic analysis that builds from the firm's prior work in the community.

  • Shoreham Property Future Use and Redevelopment, Long Island, NY.

    To assist in the identification of creative reuse options for the Shoreham Property, a nuclear power plant owned by Long Island Power Authority, BBP LLC conducted an industry and economic development analysis to identify opportunities.

  • Triangle Transit Program Management Consulting Services, Research Triangle, NC.

    BBP LLC was part of a multi-disciplinary team that provided a broad range of transit consulting services to Triangle Transit. BBP LLC's services included economic and land use assessments, including those required as part of an alternatives analysis and a federal New Starts application.

  • CATS Comprehensive Operations Analysis, Market Research and Bus Rapid Transit Project, Baton Rouge, LA.

    As part of a multi-disciplinary team, BBP LLC will evaluate land use and economic conditions and opportunities from a transit-oriented development perspective consistent with the federal Small Starts and Very Small Starts evaluation criteria. BBP LLC also will estimate the economic impacts associated with transit-oriented development opportunities identified.

  • Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), Fairfax County, VA.

    The staff at BBP LLC will continue to provide pre-development services for this state authority for land to be developed into a new station stop on the new Silver Line connecting METRO from Tysons Corner to Dulles International Airport in Northern VA.

  • I-Cubed, State of Massachusetts.

    After finishing an economic diversification plan for the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) on Cape Cod working with MassDevelopment, and conducting commercial and industry analysis associated for that project, BBP LLC has further assisted state officials evaluate developer proposals for technology-related projects elsewhere in the Commonwealth.

  • Metrorail Station Planning, Herndon, VA.

    As a subcontractor to a nationally recognized planning firm, BBP LLC is interviewing property owners, preparing subway station case studies, crafting a capital improvement guide and participating in plan review for development of a new Metrorail Station under planning in the Dulles Corridor for the new Silver Line.

  • On-Call Services, Edgewater, FL.

    BBP LLC is providing on-call economic development serivces to the City of Edgewater, located along the ocean near Daytona Beach. Our role will be in support of other team members when asked to address developer proposals, comprehensive plan reviews, rezonings and other local actions.

  • Development Advisory Services, Salt Lake City, UT.

    BBP LLC senior professionals have been engaged by the Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency to provide on-call advisory services for the development of Agency-owned properties slated for disposal or for investment into public-private partnerships.

  • Economic Development Strategy, Fauquier County, VA.

    BBP LLC teamed with Clark Nexsen to devise an economic development strategy for the Midlands Service District Airport Area. A key element to the study was to estimate capital costs for infrastructure to serve the area and its potential impact on business attraction.

  • Hotel Feasibility Study, Port Isabel, TX.

    BBP LLC conducted a feasibility analysis for a hotel in Port Isabel to complement a planned Visitor's and Events Center in this community near the South Padre Island tourist area on the Gulf of Mexico.

  • Housing Needs Analysis, West Haven, CT.

    BBP LLC assessed the potential for higher density mixed-use development through Incentive Housing Overlay Zoning in West Haven with specific focus on the downtown district, Transit-Oriented District and the city's shoreline redevelopment area.

  • Western New York Science & Technology & Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP), Genesee County, NY.

    As part of a multidisciplinary team, BBP LLC provided an economic and fiscal impact assessment of this planned 1,300 acre facility that will provide leading edge technology R&D and manufacturing uses.

  • Zediker Station Project, Washington County, PA.

    BBP LLC conducted a market demand analysis, economic/fiscal impact and a target industry market assessment for a large site in Southwest Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  • VIA Transit Agency, Downtown Circulator and Long-Range Regional Transportation Plan, San Antonio, TX.

    BBP LLC senior professionals were the lead economic, market and financial consultants for a multidisciplinary team evaluating the feasibility of a central area downtown circulator utilizing modern trolley technology in the context of a long-range transportation plan.

  • NJ Transit, NJ.

    The staff at BBP LLC continues to provide development advisory services including, economic analyses and developer proposal evaluations at several transit stops in Northern NJ including, major mixed-use projects at Secaucus Station, one of the largest stations in the NJ Transit system.

  • Mixed-Use Development Analysis, Orlando, FL.

    BBP LLC senior professionals performed market and fiscal analyses on $200 million of urban-scale, mixed-use development on publicly-owned outparcels complement a proposed 4,500-seat performing arts center in the downtown area.

  • Economic Development Strategy, Aztec, NM.

    BBP LLC prepared a comprehensive economic development strategy for this northern New Mexico town. This strategy action plan was included as an appendix to the City's Comprehensive Plan, and serves to guide development and implementation policies for the City.

  • Sunnyvale, CA.

    BBP LLC managed a consultant team that was tasked with preparing a conceputal design and business plan for the reuse of an 18 acre former Air Force station located in the Silicon Valley outside San Francisco. Under consideration is construction of an "auto mall" comprised of multiple area automobile dealerships.

  • Housing for Economic Growth Study, East Hartford, CT.

    BBP LLC conducted a housing study in East Hartford to identify sites for high density workforce housing through Incentive Housing Overlay Zoning.

  • North Shore Transportation and Land Use Study, Staten Island, NY.

    Provided economic and market input as part of a strategic plan to create policy recommendations and a framework to guide zoning and development actions along Staten Island's North Shore for the New York City Economic Development Corporation in conjunction with the NYC Department of City Planning.

  • Garden Street Planning Analysis, New Rochelle, NY.

    Working with the City of New Rochelle New York, BBP LLC senior professionals conducted market, economic and financial pro forma evaluation of Transit Oriented Development focusing on residential and shared parking opportunities proximate to the downtown and the Metro North Station. Development programs were formulated and a Draft Developer Requests for Expressions of Interest prepared.

  • Central Broward Transit Project, Broward County FL.

    BBP LLC is assessing economic, market and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) opportunities along this proposed transit corridor as part of a multidisciplinary team for the Florida Department of Transportation.

  • Tri-County Transportation and Land Use Study, Nashville, TN.

    Provided an economic and market analysis for the north/northeast portion of the Nashville region to assist the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in better understanding the consequences of current and alternative land use policies and growth trends.

  • Economic Development Vision and Plan, Essex, VT.

    BBP LLC senior professionals developed a community-inspired plan for economic development in Essex. Since the community has been traditionally dominated by a single industry, an important focus of the plan is on diversifying the economic base through business attraction, retention and expansion efforts. Strategies were also developed in the areas of land use and regulations, sites and buildings for economic development, and transportation investment.

  • Kent Central Gateway Study, Kent, OH.

    As the senior economist to a multi-disciplinary team, evaluated economic development linkages between Kent State University and the regional transit system, focusing on a planned multimodal transit center.

  • Troy City Hall Redevelopment Plan, Troy, NY.

    The staff at BBP LLC provided development and real estate advisory services related to the relocation of the City Hall site including leading a developer solicitation for redevelopment of the riverfront site.

  • Transit Center Evaluation, Wilmington, DE.

    BBP LLC's role in the evaluation of two potential transit center sites was to identify the joint development and public-private partnership opportunities of the two sites and to prepare a joint development strategy.

  • Mission Competitiveness Analysis, Great Falls, MT.

    BBP LLC identified mission opportunities for Malmstrom Air Force Base and the Montana National Guard Base in Great Falls that will effectively "cross-pollinate" the current and future missions at the Bases with the Great Falls regional strength.

  • Hill District Neighborhood Community Based Master Plan, Pittsburgh, PA.

    BBP LLC's role was to prepare market analyses for residential, office and retail uses; evaluate and assess community based outcomes of economic development; assess alternate locations and phasing strategies for new development and revitalization opportunities; and participate in meetings with the community.

  • Long Branch, NJ.

    The staff at BBP LLC is proud to be providing services for 13 years now to the City of Long Branch with its ambitious and successful redevelopment initiative. Currently BBP LLC is managing the design and engineering of a $90M Pier & Ferry Terminal project that will provide high-speed service between Long Branch and lower Manhattan.

  • Reuse of Portions of NAS JRB Willow Grove, Horsham Township, PA.

    BBP LLC, along with its subcontractor Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP, is completed an economic diversification plan, surplus property redevelopment plan and a homeless housing assistance submission for two off-site housing areas at this former Navy holding near Philadelphia.

  • Development of a Master Plan for Surplus Federal Property, New Haven, CT.

    BBP LLC recently completed a reuse master plan with its subcontractor URS for a local reuse authority for these improved assets now serving as a National Guard Reserve Center on Wintergreen Avenue that may be recycled into either a homeless or public safety building.

  • Economic Development Analyses, Durham, NC.

    BBP LLC conducted market analyses/forecasts, calculated economic/fiscal impacts, devised funding/financing alternatives and prepared implementation strategies in a 279-block redevelopment area of the City of Durham.
